Spumante Brut Metodo Classico Diamicton 2015

Diamicton is a fine sparkling wine linked to its territory of origin: the Adige valley in Trentino. Vito Piffer is an oenologist with thirty years of experience on his shoulders and when he started to work on his own, not only did he lavish his expertise in the creation of this traditional method sparkling wine, but he applied his own philosophy, which is that of enhancing the territorial characteristics in each label. This is why the name of the sparkling wine itself is a geological term: Diamicton is the pebbly soil of morainic origin in the Adige valley from which the grapes come. It has a fine character, medium body and fruity flavor, thanks to the blend of the cuvée which includes the three classic vine varieties of the best French bubbles.

The grapes are gently pressed. The free-run must ferments in steel vats at a controlled temperature. After the second fermentation, the sparkling wine ages on the lees for 36 months.
