Speyside Blended Malt Scotch Whisky

Si tratta di un blended whisky dal gusto particolarmente fruttato. Fu lanciato inizialmente dal bar di un hotel, chiamato appunto Copper Dog. È ottenuto dall’assemblaggio di circa una decina di whisky single malt tutti dello Speyside, invecchianti in legni di diversa provenienza: botti americane e europee. Dopo l’assemblaggio matura ancora in grandi botti usante finché i vari sapori si sono fusi all’unisono. Il suo carattere delicato e fruttato lo rende ideale nella miscelazione, infatti è stato creato proprio con questa finalità. Tuttavia risulta un ottimo whisky da sorseggiare in un pub con amici o per coloro che si stanno avvicinando al mondo dello Scotch Whisky per la prima volta.

It is a blended whiskey with a particularly fruity taste. It was initially launched from a hotel bar, called Copper Dog. It is obtained from blending about a dozen single malt whiskys, all from Speyside, aged in woods of different origins: American and European barrels. After the blend is made, it ages again in large used barrels until the various flavors have married together. Its delicate and fruity character makes it ideal for blending, in fact it was created with this purpose in mind. However, it is an excellent whisky to sip in a pub with friends or for those who are approaching the world of Scotch Whisky for the first time.
