Nodo d’Amore Bianco 2020
The Farina’s white wine with the evocative name Nodo d’Amore (“Love knot”) is a modern idea, obtained by combining typically Venetian grapes with French grapes. The result is a wine rich in flavor and structure, soft but also refreshing. The grapes come from suitable areas of Veneto and the Adige valley. The name Nodo d’Amore evokes this link between three grape varieties (Garganega, Chardonnay and Sauvignon) which is a successful marriage, because it fascinates and seduces both the scent and the taste. Nodo d’Amore is also the emblem of the Farina family represented on the label.
Wine making involves the alcoholic fermentation of the grapes harvested separately by vine variety. Subsequently, about one third of the wine ages in new French oak barrels, acquiring flavor depth and spicy aromas, while two thirds of the wine ages only in steel to maintain freshness.
