Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky Aged 10 Years (con astuccio)
Laphroaig Single Malt Scotch Whisky 10 Years Old is produced from only barley malt by the Laphroaig distillery. Much of its taste depends on the water of the Kilbride stream and the peat bog of Glenmachrie, whose peat has an original composition. Laphroing takes great care of the peat beds used for the preparation of the malt, in fact all phases are carried out inside the distillery.
Laphroaig Whisky stands out for its precious degree of peaking, due to the peculiar malting process. Furthermore, the processing in small stills determines a breadth of taste that has made it successful. The distillation is double through small traditional copper stills. The whisky ages at least 10 years in ex-bourbon oak barrels subjected to the Atlantic climate, which guarantees the right humidity.
The result is a complex and persistent Whisky with a peaty and robust character.
