Grappa di Chianti Classico

The Grappa produced by Capannelle is a top quality, typically Italian spirit. In fact, Grappa is the Italian spirit par excellence, produced with pomace, or with the skins of the grapes used for the production of wine. In the case of Capannelle’sGrappa the grapes are those used for the production of Chianti Classico, or Sangiovese from the hills of Gaiole in Chianti. Immediately after alcoholic fermentation, when the skins are removed from the wine, these still wet are taken to the distillery. A continuous distillation in traditional copper still produces this spiritwhich is bottled young, without aging in wood to maintain the fragrance of the perfumes and smoothness on the palate.
