Franciacorta Brut Satèn

Franciacorta Satèn Santa Lucia, despite being produced for a few years, has already been noticed by critics and consumers. It obtained 2 glasses from Gambero Rosso 2022, and is also considered an excellent wine by the Vitae guide of the Italian Sommelier Association and by the guide I Vini di Veronelli. It is soft and delicate, just as expected from a Satèn; everything has been done to create a subtle wine of pure elegance, perfect for a refined aperitif or a romantic evening. Chardonnay only grapes come from 15 different vineyards in different villages of Franciacorta, where the vines are on average 10 years old. A lower proportion of liqueur de tirage in the elaboration of the sparkling wine results in a particularly delicate fizziness that turns into a creamy and caressing sensation.

The harvest is manual. The free-run must ferments in stainless steel vats at a controlled temperature. Yeasts and sugars are added to the cuvée to trigger the second fermentation in the bottle according to the traditional method. The sparkling wine ages for 24 months in autolysis on the yeasts in the bottle before being disgorged. The dosage is 6.5 g / l.
