Franciacorta Brut Rosé
While not losing the typical elegance of Franciacorta, this rosé also has a structure that makes it ideal for meals as well as for aperitifs. The vineyards of the Montenisa estate of the Antinori family are located right in the center of the morainic amphitheater of Franciacorta. This Franciacorta Rosé is produced with only Pinot Noir grapes, grown in a vineyard suited for this grape variety. The result is a lively and supple sparkling wine.
The harvest is carefully carried out in boxes so as not to crush the berries. A gentle pressure of the grapes allows to extract a free-run must of a light pink hue. This ferments in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature. The second fermentation in the bottle follows according to traditional method and the sparkling wine ages about 30 months on its lees.
