Champagne Brut Rosé Grand Cru
Only Bouzy Grand Cru grapes are selected for this Rosé Champagne with a round and fruity taste. It is a blended Rosé Champagne, that is, it is obtained by adding red wine to the cuvée, before the second fermentation. This gives Champagne particular body and "vinous" character, but above all it is its fruity intensity that makes it easily appreciated by anyone. Among all the villages of Champagne Bouzy is considered one of the most suted for the cultivation of Pinot noir, so much so that here still red wines are also made with that grape variety.
The grapes are harvested by hand and vinified separately by variety. The alcoholic fermentation of the base wines is carried out in stainless steel. The cuvée includes 15% of Pinot noir vinified in red, 75% of Pinot noir vinified in white and 10% of Chardonnay. In part, the base wines come from previous vintages. The aging on the lees in the bottle after the second fermentation is about two years.
