Champagne Brut Grand Cru Cuvée Juline
Cuvée Juline is a precious Champagne, designed for the most demanding palates or for the great lovers of evolved and mature Champagne. It is a cuvée of only vin de réserve produced with Grand Cru grapes from the village of Bouzy in the Montagne de Reims, a particularly suitable area. The prevalence of Pinot Noir determines solidity and volume on the palate, but that 20% of Chardonnay is decisive in making the bouquet harmonious and complex. The evolved character is therefore given by the base wines which are not young wines, but wines aged in the cellar of the Georges Vesselle maison for several years.
The base wines result from the alcoholic fermentation of the free-run must in stainless steel vats. The cuvée is created only with wines aged in the cellar for at least 5 years in steel. Once the cuvée has been created, the second fermentation takes place in the bottle according to traditional method with prolonged maturation on the lees.
