Champagne Brut Blanc de Blancs Dom Ruinart 2009 (con astuccio)
Not a simple Blanc de Blancs, but a tribute to Chardonnay in a rare and prestigious Champagne label with a fresh and complex taste. Dom Ruinart is the Champagne line dedicated to the founder of the house, Dom Thierry Ruinart. The first vintage was produced in 1959 to enhance the Chardonnay grapes from Grand Cru vineyards. In particular, 82% of the grapes come from the Côte des Blancs (Cramant, Avize, Chouilly and Le Mesnil-sur-Oger) and 18% from the northern slope of the Montagne de Reims (Sillery).
The grapes are harvested manually. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel vats at a controlled temperature. The base wines also carry out malolactic fermentation, which is at the origin of the famous creaminess of the Ruinart style. After 9 years of aging on the lees, the low dosage (4 g / l) helps make this Champagne an emblem of elegance and body.
